XMIFC faced Jinlong in Xiamen FA Cup quarter-finals yesterday night at Tong`an Huangdong Football Park.

XMIFC started the game good pushing forward and getting the lead with Michal`s first goal for XMIFC. Later XMIFC scored again with Juan, but he was denied by the referee for what would be his first goal for XMIFC. Referee said offside.

Later in the first half Jinlong equalized against the run of play but XMIFC responded quickly with Checho, first half ended with this scoreline, 2-1 to XMIFC.

In second half XMIFC started with quickfire goals, first with Petar, giving XMIFC a two goal lead, then 2 back to back goals with Martin. Hitting the hour mark XMIFC was leading by 4 goals.

XMIFC `s 6th goal came from Sercan in an organized effort. It was a good team goal. Jinlong got their second goal around 70th minute from a free-kick to bring the scoreline to 6-2 but they could not stop the XMIFC storm. Right after Jinlong`s second goal Martin scored one more to complete his hat-trick and XMIFC got their 5 five goal lead back.

In the dying minutes of the game Michal got his 2nd and Andres got his first ever competitive goal for the team, bringing the scoreline to 9-2.
